Prototype 004 — field-tested
Responsive web control, acoustic capture from the detector, obstacle alerts, power monitoring and battery thresholds — tuned for outdoor use and link loss.
ModuBrain™
A modular exploration platform: a central brain (HUB), sensing modules, and a web interface. The first configuration bridges RC chassis and commercial metal detectors without hacking their electronics — telemetry, safety, and find logging.
Early prototype stage: not a product for sale. We are validating community need and talking to serious technical partners.
ModuBrain™ — trademark application pending with the USPTO (United States). The ™ symbol indicates a trademark claim; ® only after registration is granted.
Many detectorists already use RC vehicles to cover ground; the hard part is reliably integrating the detector’s audio, safe motion, and useful find records without locking into one detector brand or one chassis.
ModuBrain is a non-invasive link: your detector stays the same; the platform adds assisted traction, peripheral sensors, and a software layer that can grow when it makes operational sense.
Responsive web control, acoustic capture from the detector, obstacle alerts, power monitoring and battery thresholds — tuned for outdoor use and link loss.
Evolution toward a higher-capacity brain, coherent sensing cells (proximity, navigation, geolocation, audio), and the same control and field-safety philosophy.
Hardware integration underway; firmware and field testing in progress.
We want direct conversation with metal-detecting clubs and prospecting associations: terrain coverage, ergonomics, reliability, and respect for local rules. If you represent a club, write to us — your field experience helps prioritize firmware and UX.
Embedded systems, sensing, connectivity, field safety, and later backend sync. We want serious conversations with people who want to co-build, not one-off curiosity.
Product software and design detail are protected as know‑how; we do not publish schematics or sources in the open.
Priority: stabilize the platform, reliable firmware, and intensive field work. Later, a private ModuBrain server may accumulate finds (with consent) and support assisted interpretation — with traceability and user control. AI only where it truly adds value.
We value demonstrated experience in embedded systems, robotics, or hardware/software product, and real bandwidth for long-term ownership. This is not a generic job post: we’re talking vision fit and a possible co-founder role after we get to know each other.
Email a short note on your background and what interests you about ModuBrain. We reply when we can give it proper attention.
